Product Overview

Glucosylrutin for Modern Cosmetic Formulation

Glucosylrutin, also known as alpha-glucosylrutin or alpha G-rutin, is a glucosylated derivative of rutin developed to improve the water compatibility of this flavonoid structure. We supply NY GLRT for cosmetic formulations where brands and formulators are looking for a water-compatible antioxidant active that can be evaluated in serums, essences, gels, lotions and emulsions.
01

≥70% Monoglucosyl Rutin

We standardize NY GLRT to ≥70% monoglucosyl rutin, providing a clearly defined main-component specification for raw-material evaluation and batch qualification.
02

Water-Compatible for Formulation

NY GLRT is supplied as a water-soluble, light yellow to yellow powder, making it easier to evaluate in water-containing cosmetic systems than conventional rutin.
03

Enzymatically Produced

We produce NY GLRT through an enzyme-catalyzed process using rutin and a dextrin material, followed by purification and spray drying.
Formulation Value

Why Formulators Consider Glucosylrutin

Easier to Work With Than Conventional Rutin

Glucosylation improves the water compatibility of rutin, making Glucosylrutin easier to evaluate in water-containing cosmetic systems where conventional rutin may create solubility limitations.

Antioxidant Positioning Without Changing the Rutin Origin

Glucosylrutin retains the rutin-derived flavonoid positioning while providing a more formulation-friendly format for antioxidant and environmental-stress cosmetic concepts.

Suitable for Multiple Water-Containing Formats

Its water solubility allows formulators to evaluate NY GLRT across serums, essences, gels, lotions and emulsions instead of limiting development to formats that can accommodate poorly water-compatible flavonoids.
Applications

Recommended Applications

Antioxidant Serums & Essences

We recommend evaluating NY GLRT in water-rich serum and essence systems while monitoring color, clarity and precipitation during stability testing.

Anti-Aging Creams & Lotions

Glucosylrutin can also be evaluated in emulsions where a water-compatible flavonoid antioxidant is required.

Daily Protective Skin Care

We recommend positioning NY GLRT as an antioxidant supporting ingredient rather than as a UV filter or replacement for an approved sunscreen system.
